Events: Fall 2008

This fall, OEOA will co-sponsor the CCED Small Business Development Workshop series. This is a community outreach program that offers minority and low-income individuals in Champaign County the opportunity to learn about the various aspects of starting their own business, as well as creating a business plan.

In November, OEOA will host the 23rd Annual Diversity Program, which will bring campus and community members together in recognition of the organizations that have helped cultivate a diverse and inclusive campus environment.

Past Events

Last April, OEOA hosted a series of womens forums titled "Career Choices: Women Sharing Knowledge and Empowering Women." Overall, twelve campus and community women served as panelists and forty-five women students attended.

In the fall of 2007, OEOA co-sponsored the CCED Small Business Development Workshop series, with two dozen community members completing the ten-week series.
